I got an eReader as a Christmas gift one year, and it's a wonderful way for me to enjoy books. Unlike reading on an iPad, the eReader has a display which is easy on the eyes. All in all, it's a fun and easy way to be able to enjoy a book.
There are some skeptics out there which are unsure of whether they want to give an eReader a try. If you are unsure of whether you want to give it a try or not, Poudre Libraries has some eReaders to try.
According to their website, the Poudre Library District has about 90 Barnes & Noble Nook eReaders, all preloaded with many wonderful books, including popular bestsellers, mysteries, biographies and young adult novels. The color Nook eReaders have some titles aimed at younger audiences as well. A full list is available on the Poudre Libraries website at poudrelibraries.org.
Any library cardholder in good standing may check out a Nook for three weeks. Renewals are allowed, if the Nooks are not on hold to someone else. You may also put an eReader on hold, as you would a book. You will be notified when one is available to come and pick-up. For more information, visit the Poudre Libraries website at poudrelibraries.org.
