Chris Brown's Gulfstream 3 private jet had to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff at Burbank airport when the cabin started to fill with smoke.

Passengers were scared but the pilot handled the situation calmly and landed the plane without issue.

Chris, who was trying to make the Met Gala in Teterboro, NJ, decided to jump on another plane an hour later but didn't make it on time for the gala. He did however make it to an after party and seem to be in a great mood.

Lauryn Hill, who plead guilty to tax 3 counts of tax evasion last year, was just sentenced to 3 months in federal jail. After which, she will be on house arrest for 3 months followed by 9 months of "supervised release" aka probation.

Ms. Hill, who scrapped together more than $970,000 to pay back her debt, must report to prison by July 8th.

The D.A. investigated the incident and found they could no prove Trey did anything wrong so he's off the hook!
