Alright here it is. I'll have to make my own little survey here because I tried to copy and paste the one from Kramer’s page but it came up with this wierd N()&^%$(*_ And if you want to know the last time I went skinny dipping or how many times I’ve been to the mall this month, that's weird, go to my myspace page or read Kramer's survey.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES... When I'm not in the studio or a some station event.... I like snowboarding, started with Chris and Kramer at the X Games in Aspen and have been working on that, falling down a lot at progressively faster speeds. I play lots of Frolf (Frisbee Golf for you non Sinefeld fans) in the summer, camping is a must if you live in Colorado. I'm a licensed aerobatic pilot and I am working on a Class A skydiving license. I constantly add to my digital music collection, that takes up a lot of time and eye strain. I like to sit on the lawn and drink beer while listening to the tunes listed below in the summer, hopefully with some steaks grilling. Go Avs, Rockies, Broncos and Nuggets. I also have 2 other jobs, I DJ all the Colorado Eagles and Colorado Ice games. When I'm not doing any of the above I probably end up watching TV...who doesn’t haha.
TV... The Office, Daily Show, Entourage, Sinefeld, 24, King of The Hill, Simpson’s, Blind Date, Law and Order (yeah I'm one of those people), and election coverage that favors Barack Obama...yep.
MUSIC… Everything on 96-1 KISS FM of course lol, SET FORTH (these guys are my boys!! SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC! check 'em out Myspace.com/setforth ) Jack Johnson, Amy Winehouse, I'm a huge Jimmy Buffett fan, other faves include Jack's Mannequin (seriously underrated band, new album drops in April) John Mayer, Tom Petty, Bob Marley, Sublime, Long Beach Shortbus, LB Dub Allstars, Alkaline Trio, Green Lemon, Green Day, Biggy, Tribe Called Quest, Lyrics Born, Lupe Fiasco, Puffy, Akon, Dre, Snoop, Gangstar, Big Head Tod, Dave Matthew's Band, ACDC, Led Zeppilin, Lynard Skynard, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground, The Clash, The Beatles, Maroon 5, Eve 6. Most Texas Country Music...Check out The Great Divide, Pat Green, Randy Rodgers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Reckless Kelly, Chris and I are both Robert Earl Keen fans as well. Too many other to list...
BOOKS... Lots of travel diaries..."Dark Star of Africa" by Paul Theroux, "Fate is The Hunter" by Ernest Gann, "Adventure Capitalist" by Jim Rogers, "Travels" by Michael Chricton, are all great. "Blink" and "The Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell were interesting. I like Hunter S. Thompson's earlier non-political stuff, Jimmy Buffett's "Where is Joe Merchant" or anything by John Grisham. I read a lot of other crap in school some good some bad but usually I like magazines....The Onion, The Week (best news brief ever and super interesting), Rolling Stone, Blender, Cosmo's from 2002 but only in poorly maintained waiting rooms (real insight into the female mind...yikes), Wikipedia and Wikitravel can kill some time when you only have a computer.
MOVIES… Coming Soon
FOOD …(no one else has a food section so I'm startin’ it!)
Hot Sauce...I kind of have a hot sauce fetish/problem, not like I want to lick it off you or put some down my pants but I really love the stuff, all kinds on basically every kind of food, I even carry a little bottle of Tabasco in my car, pathetic I know but I'm addicted. It might have something to do with me being from New Mexico and eating all that spicy food at a young age.
New Mexican Food- is different than regular Mexican, if you're from there you know what I'm talking about.
Mexican Food- is the next best thing, The Rio and Big City Burrito both deserve props on my page. If only they would put one closer to my house, Rio margs are too damn delicious and can even make a bike ride home scary, enjoy with caution.
Beer- is delicious and liking it in Fort Collins makes it even better, the microbrew capitol of the world baby!! Recently I have been drinking some sloppily prepared homebrew concocted by my roommates Gerdes, Bam, Bauer and Larry, the last two being canine and feline, and myself. It tastes like beer and gets the job done, it just doesn't taste like great beer, but we're getting better. Aside from that, lately it’s been Odell's IPA, Busch and Cuervo shots with the KISS Crew..lookout when that starts.
Chicken Fried Steak- Vern's in Bellview is a must for chicken fried steak after a camping trip.
Hooters with Big Rob, "yeah yeah hooters".
Hot Wings- check out this recipe, www.hotsauceblog.com/hotsaucearchives/category/recipes/hot-wing-recipes/ It's the habanero pomegranate reduction recipe, they are awesome I promise but be careful, I gassed out the house cooking them the first time and had to book it down to the basement for like 2 hours due to overcooked habanero sauce smoking on the stove, it was fierce. Tip...don't start drinking beer and forget you have a pot of this stuff ticking on the stove.
Wow, I must be hungry this section got kind of long.
Probably the funniest video I've seen on YouTube in a while. And a special thanks to the Poudre School District for teaching me so much spanish....two years in high school and I almost comprehended most of this song. Enjoy Amigos!
Say Hello To Summer Bash!! Review
Thursday 05-15-2008 12:24pm MT
5/5 Stars hahaha
A great night all around, thought I'd post some hightlights in case you missed it.
Morning - I had to pick up Gavin's band at DIA and want to give a HUGE thank you to the Denver Police Officer that yelled at me, threatened to impound the van I was driving (on loan from Iron Mountain Autoplex) because I had dealer plates, threatened to detain me and yelled at and hung up on Chris Kelly. I hope you felt like a real big shot dude. You know who you are and I hope some bad karma catches up with you. All for standing in the pickup area for too long! Welcome to Denver Gavin! Anyhow, the band seemed to find it quite amusing. After we were released from the so called police/harassment department at DIA it was back to the station but not before just about everyone in the band and myself hit up 1800-flowers to take care of Mothers Day obligations. The band all went for the delux flower arrangemet. At $80 for the delux package I pondered my impovrished radio lifestyle and asked for something cheaper(sorry mom). Back at the station the wind was blowing like hell, everyone in the band fresh from Dallas in T-shirts necessitated a trip to target for jackets which Target didn't have? So on to Dick's Sporting Goods.
Afternoon - various tasks, getting internet in the conference room for Gavin's management, attempted banner hanging in the wind, ensuring Hoge had enough Jack Daniels, a quick power nap in the car, ect ect.
The SHOW! -
Tyler Ward kicked it off, an awesome old school hip hop montage and a few originals summed up Tyler's set. The guy is a real entertainer!
Josh Hoge put on a great set as well, Big Rob and I interviewed him on the VIP balcony. Great guy all around, just as much fun off stage as he seems on. Thanks for the Jack J-Hoge!!
Set Forth put on another awesoem show. I can't even count how many times I have seen these guys perform but I never get tired of hearing them play. They deserve a record deal more than any local band in NOCO and they are well on their way. Steve, Jeff, Ryan and Mark, thanks for such a great show and being such great friends! You guys rock!
Kate Vogel put on a great show and was extremely nice to everyone here, no ego on here at all, just a nice girl who puts on a great show.
Gavin DeGraw was the suprise of the show. Not that anyone expected him to be a jerk or anything but usually people as big a deal a Gavin are at least a little guarded. Not Gavin, this guy was WORLD CLASS all around. Eager to meet and chat with anyone who wanted to, probably the niceest artists any of us have ever remember meeting. There are a lot of national acts that have a lot to learn from Gavin and his crew. Oh and he put on an AWESOME performance with some very cool covers you won't hear on any album, a stellar performance from a very genuine and talented artist.
After party review coming soon (we have to confirm the happenings haha).
Smutty Miley Pics?
Wednesday 04-23-2008 4:06pm MT
Really? What's the big deal? I'm not going to post them but you can check them out here newfromdisney.notlong.com. She's 15 and these pics are with her boyfriend, where's the felony? Maybe I saw the wrong pics but I didn't see her chugging whiskey and popping X with no clothes on. I think people need to realize she is in fact a real person, no pull string coming out of her back to elicit singing and no claim that she is and will remain to be as wholesome as Disney claims her to be, which no one is. For *&&^ sake people she's 15, let here live her life or at least wait for some real smutty pics to come out before you bust out the ole Britney treatment (in this day and age you probably won't have to wait long but one can only hope). Shennigans!
KISS FM VOTES!! Results
Wednesday 04-23-2008 3:31pm MT
The poll has been up for a few weeks now and I have gotten a lot of calls about who's winning. I am going to wait a while for a larger sample to give you an exact tally but I can tell you Obama is the clear leader among you Kiss listeners out there, with McCain and Hillary splitting the remainder. Keep on voting and feel free to hit me up in the studio 877-498-9600 if you want to chat about it. I'll be sure to give some up to the minute results on my show friday so be listening. THANKS for stopping by!

Alright, I admit it, before this election I was a card carrrying member of the apathy party. I had been disinfranchised by politics and saw little hope in keeping up with anything election related. This election seems different in that everywhere I go I am hearing people who are usually unaware of anything CNN talking specifics about this Presidential race and that is inspiring. I'll leave it to the politicians to tell you how decisive and important this election is, but surely anyone who hasn't been living under a rock can feel it in the air that there is an excitement and real chance to turn all that is depressing about the nightly news around into something positive, people are really worked up! So I figured I would test our local political waters here with a little experiment. I want know who Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming thinks will do the best job running our country and how passionatly they belive it, to see the will of 96-1 Kiss FM listeners, so to speak, meaning YOU!. And if you are a felon or under 18 this is your only chance to vote so don't pass that up.
There are two polls below, one to measure the passion of the respective parties(vote until you turn blue or the election is over) and one to represent the total number of people who voted for any one canidate. I'll announce the results every Friday on-air and post them online as well. Happy Voting!!
This is the Passion Poll. You can vote as many times as you want. Let's see who has the most passionate party behind them. Don't forget to vote in the next poll that measures total voters, more like the real election, minus the smelly booth.

Alright, I admit it, before this election I was a card carrrying member of the apathy party. All the Republicans seemed crooked and all the Democrats seemed crooked, they just hid it better lol. Anyhoo, this election is different. I'll leave it to the politicians to tell you how decisive and important this election is but I wanna know who you think will do the best job running our country, to see the will of 96-1 Kiss FM listeners. And if you are a felon or under 18 this is your only chance to vote haha.
There are 2 polls below, one to measure total voters(you can only vote once). And another poll to measure the passion of the respective parties(vote until you turn blue or the election is over). I'll announce the results every Friday on-air and post them online as well. Happy Voting!!

Desert Island Discs
Monday 04-07-2008 12:56pm MT
Alright, so now I have put up some of my favorites, I want to know what your "Desert Island Discs" are. Email me yours at drew@kissfmcolorado.com and each week I will feature a different listener’s disc list on my page, the winner will also get something cool from promotions director Amy's prize vault. No rules, just submit songs, albums or artists you just could not live with out. Here is a few more of mine
Amy Winehouse "Back to Black" There's a reason Amy won all those Grammy’s, she can sing like no one in the last 20 years, the album sounds like something you'd find in your parents crawl space twisted just enough to make it relevant, current and deserving of mention on my page and paired with Mark Ronson as producer, it's a timeless winner. Hopefully she'll lay off the drugs long enough to record a few more. Also, check out the "Back to Black" B-sides release with key tracks like "Valerie" and a live version of "Tears Dry on Their Own".
Sublime "40oz to Freedom" They created or at least made popular that drunk/punk/reggae/surf rock sound that no one can really pin down with a word. Bradley Nowell died at 29 but his music lives on in this album, the prequel to the circumstances leading to his untimely death. A great summer "windows down" album.

I figured if you have made it all the way to my page you are probably pretty familiar with the KISS play list. I myself, as I'm sure you as well, listen to loads of other music that escapes the grasp of Top 40 radio. So, I figured I'd list a few tracks or albums that I have been listening to in hopes you will check them out and enjoy as well. Sooner or later I'll come up with a catchy name for this blog feature (suggestions welcome) but for now lets just call it What to listen to when your radio breaks.
For the week of March 24....
1. Jack's Mannequin's "Everything in Transit" Album If are in my car or living room a lot you probably already know this album by heart, I listen to it constantly. Phenomenal from start to finish and the story behind it, while very sad, ties the whole thing together. Sounds like; you're 22 and sleep on a beach in California without any real purpose or direction with a girl from the O.C., with a bit of tradegy mixed in for good measure. That is not really a sound at all but they seem to have captured it. Not a bad song on the album but... Key tracks include: "Bruised" and "Rescued"
2. John Mayer's "Continum" Album Another 5 star album, and this one's got Grammy's to back it up. The first track "Waiting on The World To Change" dispite being the first single is a poor introduction to the rest of the album so be sure to listen further in. Mayer's return to a more traditional blues sound with stunningly vivid and complex lyrics make this the kind of album to listen to alone with the headphones on. Key tracks include: "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" - notice the decending guitar scales under the lyric "were going down". Also, "Stop This Train" and "Vultures".
3. Long Beach Short Bus "Flying Ship of Fantasy" Album First there was Sublime, a band that created a genere of music. Then Bradly died...RIP. From the ashes of Sublime came Long Beach Dub Allstars, which you have probably already heard of ("Sunny Hours", "My Own Life") along with the lesser known Long Beach Shortbus. Sounds like Sublime with less screaming guitars, more doobie and a sunburn. Key tracks include "Girl Next Door" and "Beautiful".
