I admit it, I've slacked off hard core when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It's just easier to go home and sit in front of the t.v. or computer and indulge on pizza, burgers and all types of desserts. But I've decided that I want to become healthier and more active. So I decided to do something about it.
I recruited my friend from work, Angela, to come with me to train each week with Jeremy from FIT 4U 719 Ltd. We've been at it for a few weeks now and yes, it's tough and yes, it's exhausting and we are sore from using muscles we haven't used in forever but it's worth it. As they say, summer bodies are made in the summer so hopefully we'll be more confident about ourselves once summer hits and we've shed some winter fat and made our bodies healthier.
Even little changes can make a difference so each Friday I will post a simple fitness tip to my blog. Maybe you can put it to use or maybe just seeing it will inspire you to take the stairs instead of the elevator that day.
