A woman who has been busted repeatedly for trying to sneak onto flights in San Francisco — and once for successfully stowing away on a flight from San Jose to Los Angeles — has been arrested at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix for loitering in the baggage claim area.

62-year-old Marilyn Hartman was stopped by Phoenix police last Wednesday after attempting to get past security without a ticket. She was given a trespassing warning and told to leave the airport.

She was recognized by security again yesterday (Tuesday) while loitering in the baggage claim area near a checkpoint, and arrested when it was discovered that she didn’t have a ticket.

Hartman has been taken into custody nearly a dozen times in recent months, including on Aug. 4 for successfully boarding a Southwest airlines jet without a ticket and flying from San Jose to Los Angeles International Airport.

She was sentenced to probation for that incident and told to stay away from the airport, but was arrested again Aug. 13 when she allegedly went back to LAX.

After being sentenced to 177 days in jail, Hartman was released less than a week later due to jail overcrowding.

Despite her history of trying to sneak onto planes, she flew with a legitimate ticket to Phoenix on a Southwest flight out of San Diego on Aug. 20.

Hartman was booked on charges of criminal trespassing.  Police were requesting a mental health evaluation.
